STEPS/RESAP Team Takes the Win in Newark Scarecrow Decorating Contest
In a spirited display of creativity and teamwork, Kintock recently participated in a scarecrow decorating contest that brought out the artistic talents of each department at our Newark site. Each team was provided with their own scarecrow frame, and the results were nothing short of spectacular. The contest culminated in a judging event on November 1st, where Site Administrator Jen Garcia and Corporate Director Corey Davis had the challenging task of selecting a winner.
Among the teams participating were the DOC Work Release, DOC Treatment, STEPS/RESAP , BOP, Maintenance & Housekeeping Department, Resident Supervisors, Managers of Resident Supervisors, Director of Operations and Senior Resident Managers, Human Resources and IT Departments, and the Medical Department.
After careful consideration, the victory went to the STEPS/RESAP team, whose creativity took the form of an "Upside Down" scarecrow. The attention to detail and the collaborative effort of the team were commendable.
“This team-building contest not only highlights our employees' ability to work together seamlessly but also showcases the fun and creative spirit that defines our workplace” said Paul Taggines, COO.
Congratulations to the STEPS/RESAP team for their well-deserved triumph, and a big thank you to all the departments that participated, making this contest a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone!
