In 1994, Kintock built and opened its first residential treatment facility in Newark, NJ to accommodate the needs of the the New Jersey Department of Corrections (NJDOC). Subsequently, Kintock expanded its footprint in Newark, adding two additional buildings that today make up the company's Newark Complex. In addition to contracting with the NJDOC, Kintock contracts with the New Jersey State Parole Board and the Federal Bureau of Prisons at its Newark locations. Each of the three separate buildings offer a comprehensive selection of reentry services, which include licensed substance use disorder treatment, employment placement, life skills, basic education, counseling services, medical services, and referrals to social service agencies in the local community.
