General Guidelines
Each of Kintock's day reporting and residential programs has a handbook that covers specific requirements, rules, and expectations. All program participants are required to receive a handbook and we strongly encourage the participants' families to obtain the appropriate handbook. Below are a list of general guidelines that are required within all Kintock programs.- Program participation is essential to receiving time in the community
- Participants are only permitted to leave their assigned facility with written approval to only pre-approved destinations
- Participants need to adhere to all curfews however, when arriving late to the pass destination or returning back to the facility, communication with center staff is mandatory.
- Curfews are strictly enforced
- Deviations from all and any pass is strictly prohibited without permission from center staff
- Over the counter and prescribed medication needs to be reviewed by center staff prior to use and may not be prescribed to anyone other than the program participant.
- Participants may not consume anything containing alcohol (i.e. mouth wash)
- Participants may not consume poppy seeds
- Participants are prohibited from handling or possessing sharp objects and/or any weapon
- The possession of tools for employment needs to be preapproved by the assigned case manager
- Residential participants are not permitted to have more than $50.00 cash in their possession
- Residential participants may not be in possession of credit cards other than phone cards.
- Residential participants may not be in the possession of any communication devices (i.e. cell phones)
- Residential participants may not enter into a legal contract without center staff approval
- Residential participants may not participate in research without center staff approval

- FIGHTING
- DRUG USE AND/OR POSSESSION
- ALCOHOL USE AND/OR POSSESSION
- CELL PHONE USE AND POSSESSION OF ANY COMMUNICATION DEVICE
- GANG ACTIVITY
- SMOKING IN UNAUTHORIZED AREAS
- WILLFUL DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
- VIOLENCE OR THREATS OF VIOLENCE TO ANYONE
- INAPPROPRIATE CONTACT WITH VISITORS
- SEXUAL CONTACT IN THE FACILITIES
- GAMBLING AT ANY TIME INCLUDING PLAYING THE LOTTERY
- STEALING
- LENDING OR BORROWING OF MONEY OR OTHER ITEMS
- LYING TO STAFF
- DEVIATION FROM WORK SITES OR PASSES
- TAMPERING WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE TESTING
- INTERFERING WITH COUNTS OR RANDOM SEARCHES
- FAILING TO RESPECT STAFF, OTHER PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS AND/OR VISITORS
- VIOLATING ANY LAW
- FAILING TO REPORT AN ARREST
- TATTOOING, PIERCINGS, OR ALTERING ONES APPEARANCE WHILE A PARTICIPANT OF KINTOCK’s PROGRAMMING
