Counselor (CADC)

To provide individual and group counseling for drug abuse residents who are in need of drug treatment. Intake, assessment and case management services, ongoing assessment for program eligibility, monitoring all aspects of care and client services, and psycho-educational classes may be included at the discretion of the Program Director.

Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or a Social Science. Six-months of relevant experience; a current NJ Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification (CADC); and a valid driver's license.

This position under the supervision of the Director will provide didactic, skill building and therapeutic services to address concerns and handle individual issues that may impede client's success in establishing stability in the community. The candidate may be required to provide interventions such as, skill development, and psycho-education, to specialized populations. This position may be assigned to oversee all activities and supervise Case Managers, Case Manager Aides, and the Administrative Assistant at the discrection of the Director. Master in Social Work; Licensed Social Work (LSW).
