Sr. Counselor

This position under the supervision of the Director will provide substance abuse and other cognitive skills classes of drug/and or alcohol abuse, and assist with the supervision of other counselors.

–   Scheduling and monitoring planned treatment activities
–   Scheduling personnel to oversee group activities
–   Assisting with the supervision of counselors
–   Conducting performance reviews, developmental counseling and corrective action
–   Representing program services at staff meetings
–   Assisting with Counselor/Case Managers duties when needed
–   Participating in mandatory training and staff development sessions
–   Performing all job duties in accordance with established guidelines
–   Preparing and submitting accurate, complete and timely reports, and
Performing other work related duties as assigned by the Director

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or a social science; and/or current NJ Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification (CADC) and (4) years of relevant experience preferably with an offender population in a behavior modification environment and a valid driver’s license.

Resident Supervisor

This full-time non-exempt position under the supervision of the Deputy Director and/or Manager of Resident Supervisors will maintain accountability/program compliance in a 24/7 residential community corrections facility. HS Diploma/GED 1-2 years security/correctional experience required or AA (preferred) in criminal justice good oral & written communications skills available for shift work including weekends and holidays. As well as meeting the clearance requirements of the contracting agencies.
