Buisness Services Representative

This position is primarily responsible for developing meaningful employment opportunities for residents while providing and encouraging employers to participate in On-the Job Training programs. Provide job screening, business counseling and follow-up services for employers. Identifying employers who are willing to employ qualified candidates from the offender population
Marketing to employers the array of services available through the Kintock Group
Developing and maintaining a complete data bank of employer contacts
Developing and maintaining a productive working relationship with employers
Developing and maintaining a rapport with educational and vocational facilities beneficial to the offender population
Assisting employers in establishing recruiting standards, which will benefit the hard to place skilled disadvantaged applicant
Providing information and encouragement to employers who are willing to participate in On-the-Job Training programs and tax credit programs
Developing and updating On-the-Job training plans, agreements and other relevant required documentation in a timely manner
Helping residents develop employability skills, such as job search techniques, completing applications and interviewing skills
Conducting and documenting on-site employment
Providing on-site follow-up counseling to residents to ensure effective work ethics
Undergraduate degree in sales, marketing, business administration or related field required. Minimum one year experience in the field of employment and training, marketing, human resource and/or employment counseling. Valid driver's license required.

This full-time non-exempt position under the supervision of the Deputy Director and/or Manager of Resident Supervisors will maintain accountability/program compliance in a 24/7 residential community corrections facility. HS Diploma/GED 1-2 years security/correctional experience required or AA (preferred) in criminal justice good oral & written communications skills available for shift work including weekends and holidays. As well as meeting the clearance requirements of the contracting agencies.
